I've been using Microsoft Outlook 2007 with BCM for the past three years. I
regularly, monthly, backup the data files for the Outlook BCM. Today I
clicked on the user defined fields for one of the accounts and an error
message was displayed stating "Cannot display this view because an error
occured. Please close then reopen this record to display the view. I tried
this and still receive the same error message. The other components of the
Outlook program appear to be functioning properly. The only problem seems to
be displaying the user defined fields screen. I have not backed up the data
files for about one month and now do not want to preform the backup since I'm
afraid that the past three years of information may be lost. Any suggestions
on how to correct this problem.
