Is anyone aware of a script that will tell the user what OS and Service Pack
that is instlled on their machine?

I want to run this from a cd so the user can be guided on what updates need
to be made.

I also want to include the browser version.

Is this information stored somehwere that is can be accessed?

The cd is all browser based and not a true application. The cd is training
material only for viewing.

I am open to all suggetions however!

I was unaware of this. I just looked at Microsoft's site and it is
interesting. Is there a beginner's site with examples? Will this launch
exe's?
