User is not listed in Issues Screen

Hi,
I have some users which are resources on the project, but I cannot assign
issues to them as they are not present in the "Assigned To" list. I did
synchronize the site as well but nothing happened.

I truly appreciate any response.

Has the user been assigned any tasks in the project? They aren't
actually added into the workspace until they have been given at least
one task assignment.

Let me know if that helps

Yes they are assigned on tasks. Another thing is there a lot of persons,
which are being shown on the list and they have nothing to do with that
project.

Would it be possible, for example, to show all of the users in the list? or
what is the behavior? when we publish the project what kind of users are
created in WSS? Any information will be highly appreciated.
