I have an application that is shared with approx. 17 users. The application
opens to a form. I have several users using runtime version 9.0. However, 2
of these users lock the database when they open it first until they close the
application. The database is opened and closed numerous times daily by all
users.
When one of these 2 users opens the database first, they get an error
message stating any changes they make may not be saved. However, clicking OK
allows them to continue and their changes are saved while no one else can use
the database. If the database is opened by another user and then one of these
2 users opens the database, they do not receive the error and everyone can
open the database.
This is very frustrating. It seems all users using runtime 9.0 are set up
the same way but these 2 users are somehow different. Please help.
