user name is displayed incorrectly

Guys,

We have an account that display the wrong username from Outlook (In the To:
field).

For example, we opened outlook and type the username, it would show
bob88888999 (same thing from the global address list).

I didn't find anything on the AD side that gives me any hint.

I have looked at adsiedit, it looked normal.

It pops up while you type the text? That comes from the nk2 file. If you
want to get rid of it, start typing, when it shows up, use the arrow keys,
select the address to delete and hit the delete key on the keyboard.

Otherwise, clarify what you mean by 'same thing from the global address list'?
