User Report Request from PWA and/or Project Professional

Note: We are using MS Project Professional (w/PWA) v.2007 SP1

I've looked through the PWA views and both types of out-of-box reports
in professional and don't find anything similar to this - if someone
knows of such a report, or how I can make a modification to an
existing report for this, please let me know. (I know that we can
build custom reports, but was hoping to find something existing that
would fit this need)

Users are requesting a report that will show all of their tasks
assigned to them for all projects (preferred in sequence by date) -
then the preference is to be able to run this report for a specific
date range.

Any suggestions?

First things first: your organization really should update your Project
Server 2007 to Service Pack 2 (SP2), along with the latest Cumulative
Update. There have been many bugs fixed since SP1 and I think your
organization could benefit from SP2 and the latest CU.

To answer your question, tell your users to navigate to the Resource Center
page, to select the checkbox to the left of their name, and then to click
the View Assignments button. The resulting page will show exactly what your
users want to see. They can even export the data to an Excel workbook if
this helps, but they cannot export the Gantt Chart portion of the page.
