I have created a template that has a logo and some text boxes on it.

When I type the document all is fine until I get to a new page. On the
second page the logo and text boxes do not appear.

What am I doing wrong

Go to Page Setup, Layout tab, and uncheck "Different first page." The logo
and text boxes appear only on page 1 because the default setting is to have
this item checked.

Richard's answer assumes that your logo and text boxes are in the header
(which is where you want to put things you want to appear on multiple
pages). You do not want to be typing in the header.
