UserForm

For a document template in Word 2003 I've created a simple UserForm using the
instructions supplied at
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Userforms/CreateAUserForm.htm to open automatically
when a new document is created from the template.

However, it has been requested that I make this UserForm optional
(Tools>Macros>Run) instead of automatic. What changes do I need to make to
the code.

Change the name of the macro from Autonew to something else.

Worked perfectly.
I'm new to macros (clearly), am still learning the conventions, but its
great to know I was about to do the right thing.

Many thanks for your help. Much appreciated

I, too, am new to VBA. I am trying to duplicate the same UserForm
instructions in Word 2007. Are there any steps/differences that would cause
a problem? I seem to be hanging up on the word "Range". I have never tried
debugging so I am at a loss to proceed.

Any help much appreciated.

There are no changes that would affect this in 2007. For a more detailed
article on the creation of userforms, see the following page of fellow MVP
