userid and password protection

I am a new user of FrontPage and would like to know if
there is a facility or application that allows you to add
userid and password protection to specific pages of a
site. If so is this available by a popup request screen
for new userid and password?

Jim,

Your best bet is to start with your web host. Since they get these
questions all the time, it's likely that they already have a solution in
place that you can make use of, or they can at least tell you the best
approach to implement this type of function on their servers.

Your host will have to support subwebs and unique permissions under the FP Server Extensions
