Using a converted database from 2002 to 97

If I create a database in Access 2002 will my colleagues
using Access 97 and 2000 be able to use, amend and save
the database if I convert the database to Access 97? I
need all users to be able to use the same database fully.

Use the default format, which is Access 2000. Then convert it to Access 97.
Everyone will be able to use it then. Of course any functionality, like
Conditional Formatting, used in Access 2000 or later won't be available in
Access 97. I wouldn't even design anything with later functionality so that
I could be assured of no problems in the down-grade.
