Using a Query to total results

What about creating a report based on the query that shows
both sets of information

a query that lists all the last names and amount
contributed. I also want to show the total Amount summed
somewhere in the output. Is it possible to get the query
to return a list of names and amounts, and have a total
somewhere as well. Please help!
