Using Access 2007 User Constants in Word 2007

Umm. The definition of "constant" is that you can't change the value! The
idea of "assigning values to Word constants" doesn't really make sense.
Perhaps you'll need to give a bit more detail of what it is you're trying to
do.

I want to start Word using Access (which I can already do) and then
immediately use Access to assign values to Word constants. How is that
done?

I want variable data "permanently" assigned to Word from Access, such as the
RecordID and the current user's name, which I can then manipulate.
