Using Access with ADO talking to SQL 2000

D

Darrin Corbin

Hi

When I use a piece of ADO code when the form opens
similar to this:-

..SOURCE = "SELECT * from tblFront WHERE PostCode = 'CV37
0BT'"

and put a check box on the Access form, click the check
box and the system crashes telling me to send a report to
microsoft.

If i simply use the Table name as the record source for
the form and dont bother writing the VBA ADO code in the
open statement on the form, it works fine.

Any ideas why this is
