Using ASP.Net Web Parts on WSS site

I have created a WSS 3.0 site and also created some Lists.

I am creating an ASP.Net Web Part and accessing the WSS lists
programmatically in this web part.

I have deployed this web part to the same WSS site. When I try to edit the
Web Page on WSS site and add a web part, I get an error.
