Using both sides of a page

What you are asking about is not writing but printing. Duplex printing is a
function of your printer. If you printer is capable of duplexing, then this
is a setting you must make in the printer Properties. If not, in some
versions of Word there is a "Manual duplex" setting in Word's Print dialog.
Failing that, you can print the odd pages (choose this setting in the Print
box in the Print dialog), then turn the paper over and print the even pages
in reverse order (Tools | Options | Print: Reverse print order).

Gene,

This would be something you have to do with your
printer/printer settings. Some printers (usually the more
expensive kind) will print front and back. I have to
print page odd pages first, then put the pages back in the
printer and print even pages.

If you are planning on printing your document out two-sided the one thing
you want to do is to go into "File", "Page setup" and change your margins to
"Mirror margins". Normally you have a "left" and "right" side margins, but
printing out duplicated means you have an "inside" and "outside" margins.
In Word XP the setting is under the "Margins" TAB under the "Multiple pages"
dropdown. You can also include a "gutter" if you are doing binding of your
duplex document.
