Using Code to Change the Tab Order in a Form

E

Eric

I'm using macro code to change the default tab order of fields in a form.
The form is a single table, with a single text field (not ActiveX controls)
in the necessary cells.

The macro code comes from word.mvps.org, is quite simple, and works well.

The problem is that if I place an ActiveX control, such as a command button
or a check box anywhere in the document, an extra "tab" keypress is somehow
generated and every other field is skipped!! For example, if I'm in field
one, and press the tab key, the on-exit macro fires, but I end up in field
three. Even if I delete the ActiveX control, the result is the same.

Remember that the code works fine until I introduce an ActiveX control
anywhere in the document. Has anyone seen this before?

Thanks so much for you help,
