I am trying to use Visio 2003 Enterprise Architect as my main source
for a specification document when it comes to dealing with data
entities in my project. The problem is that I can't display/extract
the field and column descriptions for use in the specification
document. E.g. display a table (entity) with two columns (description
and datatype). Showing actual table field names does me little good
for the spec. doc.
I am not interested in using the database report that exports to RTF
since there's no way to automate it, or keep the RTF in sync with
changes to the actual ERD diagram.
I have search and search and search usenet for any workarounds, but no
one seems to have any. I'm hoping someone new reads this and has a
solution.
