Using Contribute with FP

Has anyone used FP with Adobe's Contribute? Do the editable regions created
in an FP template "work" with Contribute?

Yes. But that's where it ends, most likely. CT will use FTP only to
connect to the site - this is death for any functions that need FP's server
extensions....

Yeah I thougut that might be true, it is amazing how hard it is to get
answers to questions like that.

The problem is that I would guess most people here are just not familiar
with an outlier like Contribute.

If you edit any part of a file that you are managing via FP. outside of FP, then FP will not know
that the file has been modified.

Can contribute be used simply for text editing in a portion of a FrontPage
HTML document?
Do you know of a link to any instructions to setting this up in a FrontPage
document. I cannot find any instructions on the Web.
