Access 2003 Developer Extensions. I am using the packaging wizard to create
an installation CD for an Access database I designed. I need to create a CD
for initial installation AND I need to create a CD for updates to the
database. The initial installation CD will include both the frontend and
backend of the DB as well as supporting files. The update CD should include
only the frontend and supporting files. It seems that both CD (initial
installation and update) check to see if the product is already installed.
If it is installed, the process goes no further. Thus, I am unable to get
the update CD to install the update when the database has already been
installed. What must I do to get this to work? Thanks and God bless.
