I am using an EasyWeb Graphics background on a web site.
It features a vertical bar along the left border. When
looking at the web on monitors that have been set for
high resolution, the background shows up two or three
times. Can someone advise me if making such backgrounds
a certain minimum width and/or height will cure this
problem?
Open the background picture in your favorite picture
editor, and expand the canvas width to 1600 pixels. Then,
make all the new pixels the same color as the right edge
of the original picture.
Because all the new pixels are the same color, they'll
compress very well and add very little to the overall
image size.
