Using Easy Web Graphics Background w/ FrontPage

I am using an EasyWeb Graphics background on a web site. It features a vertical bar along the left border. When looking at the web on monitors that have been set for high resolution, the background shows up two or three times. Can someone advise me if making such backgrounds a certain minimum width and/or height will cure this problem

Hi Jim,

Unless you explicitly set it backgrounds tile to fill the background space.
Otherwise the background image would have to be of sufficient size to cover
the largest screen resolution that you anticipate your visitors will be
using.

To set the page background open in FP3 Tools | Page Properties | Formatting

Open the background picture in your favorite picture
editor, and expand the canvas width to 1600 pixels. Then,
make all the new pixels the same color as the right edge
of the original picture.

Because all the new pixels are the same color, they'll
compress very well and add very little to the overall
image size.
