Using email Address field in Access

Hello,

I have a table that contains the email addresses of
students. I would like the option of using this address
field to send bulk messages to students for up and coming
events. I am running Access 2000 from a workstation, and
Exchange would not be involved. Can I somehow, tie these
addresses into Outlook, Word, or some other MS
Application? In short, Can I set up a mail group based
on the addresses I have in my database?
