How can I insert spaces between characters in the Equation Ediitor?

I want to make an equation that reads: A={i : i is an interger, i>0} but
what I get is A={i : iisan int erger, i>0}.

Does anyone know how to insert a text string into an equation?

Apply the Text style. And note that "integer" is the correct spelling.
