Using InternetExplorer Object Library

Janie

I've installed the InternetExplorer object library in my References. And I
am successful at creating an object of that application. But what I want to
do is to be able to invoke the Internet Exporer's ExportToExcel command from
my Access application. Can't quite piece it together. Got any pointers for
me?

Many thanks,
Janie

Son of a gun! I've never seen that before.

Looking in the Object model for IE, I see no reference to it. I'll keep
looking for you...

Any luck so far? Or have I stumbled into an abyss?

Am I looking at this from the wrong end ... is there a reverse process I
should think about instead, i.e., invoke from Excel as some kind of import
versus from IE as some kind of export (though logic tells me that if it is on
the context menu it should be invokable).

If you are in InternetExplorer, use your Right click and there is is on the
menu.
I don't have this in IE? What version / service pack do you have?

Thanks.

Sorry. I didn't have much time to search, didn't come up with anything
specific, and forgot to come back to it.

However, I just did a Google search using the following search terms:

+"internet explorer" +"export to excel" +vba

and got a number of hits. Many actually are talking about .Net, but you
might be able to figure it out from that.
