As soon as I enter a site which has right-click disabled, I am cognizant of
the fact that it was developed by an amateur. I suppose if you want to drive
visitors away from your site, you could certainly make use of this
technique.

There are several stock photography and sports photo
sites (like photosport.com) that use every opportunity to
dissuade the copycat. If someone needs the info, share
it. It's just another tool. Let them decide what is best
for their site.
