Using Minolta 1250W, Word prints envelope only on right

This printer will not feed an envelope except in the
center of the paper path. Word 2003, even when center is
selected on Envelope Print, Options, insists on printing
the envelope on the right thus completely missing the
envelope!

Any hints/suggestions?
