Using Multiple Slide Masters

I have created a large presentation using two different
slide masters. I know how to apply a different master to
each slide. When I move slides around within the
presentation, however, the master will suddenly change
from, say, "Master A" to "Master B" without warning. I
believe it is taking on the master from the slides around
it. Is there any way to "lock" the master to the slide?

Any help that you could give would be greatly appreciated.

How are you moving them? If you drag and drop in the thumbnail view, you
shouldn't have a problem. If you cut and paste, it seems to change to the
template used in the slide preceding where it's pasted.
