using numerical table in Word 2000

I'dlike to have a numeric table within my word document. There is a pull down that allows that but I'd like to add alot more rows than is allowed. Can I?
Thx

The pull-down is handy for starting a table. You can always add rows later
by tabbing out of the last row or by using Table | Insert Rows. If you want
a larger table to begin with, choose Insert Table on the Table menu and
enter the number of rows and columns you want.
