Using old MS Office on newer computer

I would like to transfer Office 2000 to a new Toshiba laptop - - the old Dell
computer is discarded - - any help on getting a key code??

If your copy of Office 2000 came preinstalled on your old computer by
the computer manufacturer, then you cannot transfer the software to your
new computer. If you purchased a retail copy of Office 2000 separately
from your old computer, then you can usually transfer it to your new
computer using the same product key. You'll find the product key on a
yellow/orange label on the back of the Office CD jewel case.
