Using Outlook Express Rather Than Outlook Directly From Web Pages ?

Hello,

Posted this originally in the wrong Forum; sorry.
------------------

Have installed and am running now Office 2007
Using its WORD and EXCEL mainly.
All works fine.

Now, when I'm in a site (via Firefox), and there is an e-mail link on the
page, a nice
form opens up to compose the e-mail, and send it.

But it uses OUTLOOK.

I don't like Outlook, and am using for all my regular e-mails
Outlook Express.

Outlook Express does show in Firefox and IE as my Default e-mail program

How can I get these web pages that I open up, and have an e-mail link on
them, to use OE (what "seems" to be my Default), rather than Outlook ?

(Again OE shows as the Default in Firefox and IE when looking in
Tools/Options, etc.)

Thanks,
Bob

Every time you go to Office Updates, it sets Outlook as default. Cute.
So, you have to go into OE's options and set it as default again. Or you
could use the free Thunderbird that is far superior to OE and isn't
affected by Micro$lut's updating crap. Not only that, it comes with an
excellent junk filter, checks spelling as you type and has myriads of
add ons like a calendar.

Hello,

Thanks for the help.

I never used Office Updates.

OE still works quite normally.
It's only if I try to send an e-mail directly from a page that I am in (via
Firefox)
