Using Outlook From Within Access

I seem to remember that there is some sort of configuration that needs to be
done within Access to allow it to recognize Outlook as a legitimate
application with which to interface. But I can't remember what or where.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Hi,
depends what you want to achieve.
Maybe you can clarify that a little more.
If you want to use automate outlook with early binding you need to set a
reference to the outlook object library under the vba editor
(ctrl+g)--tools--references.
Late binding would not require any references. If you just want to send
emails you would also not really need to set anything up unless you want to
use specific methods like redemption which requires registration of a
specific dll.
So with a little more information we might be able to push you in the right
direction.
