Using Outlook (not OE) to send Publisher email newsletters

Mrs Mac

I recently loaded Office 2003 and want to use Publisher to send email newsletters, but when I get the page ready to send, it wants to pull email addresses from my OE contacts, rather than the ones I moved to Outlook 2003. I changed the email default setting to be Outlook, but the addresses still revert to OE. What's happening?

Check the setting for the default e-mail program in Control Panel | Internet
Options | Programs tab -- make sure "Contact List" is set to Outlook as
well.

Hmm. If you go to a web page with an e-mail link and click on that, does it
bring up Outlook or OE? I'm just trying to determine whether Windows still
thinks OE is the default mail program or if it's just the interaction
between Publisher and Outlook that's messed up. (I really don't know
anything about Publisher, but I don't imagine it would have its own settings
for which contacts list to use...then again, I could be completely wrong
<g>)
