Using Output To command

I need to be able to query a SQL database then export the
results to an EXCEL file or some form of storage. I have
built a query and it works. The only problem is that I get
an error stating that 65000 entries is a shade too large
when I call the OutputTo command. What is the problem and
what type of file can I archive the data to that will
handle large amounts. They are using Access 97 with a SQL7
interface.
