Using Presenter View and an External Remote

Hi -

Using PP2003 in XP SP3.

Have a Targus remote.

When I put PP in "Presenter" mode, the forward/backward buttons on the
remote no longer do anything.

What's up with that? And is there some way to trick it out so I can use both?

After starting the slide show (and the Presenter View), click on the slide
show once. Now you should be able to use your presenter to navigate the
slide show.
