I am using Project as a tracking / forecasting tool. My task completions
are being entered remotely, from a custom interface. We are running 500 -
600 individual projects at a time. I need to automate the timeline
calculations based on the data input from the field interface. Would I just
write a macro in project, and run it periodically? or is there another way
to do this?
The projects are created from an XML template and updates are via PDS
extentions.
All project files are stored on a SQL server via ODBC, and published to
Project Server.
