Using Published InfoPath form and New Document shows Version 2.0

I created an InfoPath 2007 form and published it as a ContentType to a MOSS
2007 Form Library. I have versioning turned on and when a user creates a
new form document using the template, it shows up beginning with version
2.0. It should be 1.0

It appears to be only when I set the form to open as a Web Page.

Is this a bug?

Hi,

Make sure that you are not limiting the number of versions using 'Optionally
limit the number of versions to retain' option in Versionong Settings .

Hi,

I have turned on the versioning and checked on by opening the form in both
web page and using IP client, I didnt find any difference in two scenarios.
If the behaivour is only for web page it might be because of some other issue.
