Using server but not allowing anyone to see the project

We have a couple of highly sensitive projects that managers are managing with
Project Server (2003). They have asked me a question that I don't know the
answer to, and I'm hoping somebody out there does!

Can they use project server as intended, so that all the resources get the
emails, do the updates on the task sheet, etc, therefore needing to publish
the project, but hide the project on the server somehow so that everyone with
a CAL does NOT have access to see the project?

By default, using the groups and categories out of the box, team members do
not have access to viewing projects in the Project Center or detailed
Project views. If they have this permission in your system, it's because
someone added it. So, the answer to your question is yes,

That someone is me. I set it up for everyone to view all projects within
thier organization (this is how our execs wanted it). So actually I'm
thinking for ME, this answer is no, unless I go change the permissions of all
the security groups I setup. I was hoping there was just a way to "flag" one
individual project if it was to be kept private, aside from changing
permissions.

You can do this for a select group of projects, by creating custom
categories. I'm sure you'd like the exact steps to take, but I'm loathe to
recommend specifics without understanding your requirements and your
existing setup.
