Hello,
I am on a migration mission from Access97 to Access 2002.
My goal is to exploit the best of Access2002 and forgo the
new stuff that turned out to be not as exploitable as
previously envisioned. So now I am at the Shape
crossroads. I understand that DAO will remain alive and
well with Access as opposed to dying out in place of ADO
as previously thought. So now my question is if it would
be fortuitous for me to learn the concept of Shapes of
recordset for Access reports (or for Sql Server OLAP - I
think they use shapes), or is this another concept that we
could take or leave. I ask because I have not seen a
whole lot of literature or discussion on the topic of
Shapes for Access.
