Using Symbols in Visio 2000

Can anyone please tell me how to insert a "greater than or equal to"
and "less than or equal to" (™ ˜) symbols in Visio 2000? I've trying
copy/paste, but to no avail.

Have you tried getting the characters from Character Map?
Start -> Programs -> Accessories -> System Tools
