Using the Find feature within a protected document

Hello

Someone within my organization has received a protected document. Whenever
he tries to conduct a Find for a specific word within the document, it
bypasses the word within the protected section of the document. Is there
someway around this?

Try saving the file as a HTML file. If you can do that, close the
original file then open the HTML file and see if you can search
through all of it.

Generally protection within documents is a joke. If you can open a
file, you can do anything with its contents.

Thanks for the reply. I tried saving it as an HTML as you suggested and it
did not work. I should have mentioned in my previous posting that the
document is in the format as a form. I think I will have to go back to
square one to find out exactly how they had protected the file.

My apologies! It did work! I didn't notice that it saved the document in
different portions within a folder. Thanks for your help and again sorry for
the heist reply before.
