Using VPC for DirectX apps?

Is it possible at all? Not just games, sure some olde DX 7 or 8 games
come to mind, but i mean for all DX apps. If this is possible, I find
my PC running Linux with Windows a thing of the past....

P.S. Anything to get away from Microsoft yet still allow me to enjoy
all my fun software.

You'll probably get a better response about Virtual PC topics in the Virtual
PC newsgroup rather than the PowerPoint newsgroup.
