Using Windows98 and Office XP or WindowsXP and using Office97

OfficeXP ...... Pros vs. Cons ?

or

Running Windows 2000 / XP and wants to install
Office97 ...... Pros vs Cons ?

OfficeXP needs at least Win2000 to run
Office97 will run under Win95 and up

Sorry, Bernard, but that's incorrect. Office XP runs perfectly under 98 -
it's the last Office that will do so. Office /2003/ requires 2000 (SP3 or
later).

Correct. I was more than casually surprised at the excellent performance
of OffXP on a 266Mhz/128MB Win98SE laptop. The only caveat from my
experience is to have as much free disk space available as possible if
doing a full install, leaving at least 500MB free after the installation.
