Using Word 2000 default email editor in Outlook 2002

When I try to select Word 2000 as the default email editor
in Outlook 2002 the selection boxes are greyed out and
unavailble for selection. Is it possible to use word 2000
in outlook 2002 as default email editor?

Andy,

Word 2000 cannot be used as the email editor for Outlook 2002. You would
need to upgrade to Word 2002.
