When you use word as the mail editor in Outlook 2002 I have found that it does not send messages to certain hosts
For example
You cannot send a message to yourself.
Our mail server also would not receive the message
Sporadic receipts to test accounts on yahoo and other hosts. (sometimes it would work and sometimes it wouldn't
When you compose a new message and send it it looks like the mail has been sent and you do not get any sort of error message. But you never get the message. Nothing in logs anywhere
If you use the Test Account Settings you get mail normally.
As soon as you uncheck the Use microsoft word to edit email messages everything functions normally
This took us 2 days to figure this problem out and haven't found anything anywhere on it
We are using Office XP with all of the updates and patches installed.
