Using Word as one's email triggers the "A program is trying to access your
e-mail addresses" prompt in Outlook. The prompt, which appears twice each
time I reply to or forward a message, is is disruptive and tends to cause
program instability.
This problem began after I upgraded to Office 2002 SP3. After much
troubleshooting to uncover the "other program" that was trying to access
Outlook's Contacts, I found that that the prompts ceased when I unchecked the
"Use Microsoft Word to edit email messages" box in Outlook options.
I expect better product integration than this.
