utility that indicates which other program is keeping OL from shutting down?

Sometimes Outlook will not shut down. Is there a utility useable by
ordinary mortals that can show me which programs are hooked into
Outlook and which might prevent Outlook from shutting down?

Look in comm addins & other addins, in whatever version of Outlook you are
using, how you access these depends also on the version
The usual suspects being, intergrated anti virus, fax software, third party
desktop search, there are others

Not if it is caused by an addin (which usually is the case).
