Utilization of resources

Resource utilization can be calculated based on Actual
Work/Availability. I would require to calculate resource
utilization on a monthly basis. This can be got using
Portfolio Analyzer & view by month the utilization.
Is this correct method? Any other suggestions?

How can I view Availablity in % as currently it is
displayed in hours.
