Utilizing Access 97 Databases with Access 97 and Access 2003 users

My company is getting ready to refresh one of our SBU's
from Windows NT to Windows XP, and from Office 97 to
Office 2003 as part of a hardware refresh. The SBU is
appx. 800 employees, so this will be done in Deployment
Groups. There are a very large number of existing 97
databases, and some users will have to access a database
with Access 97, while another user will have to use the
database concurrently in Access 2003. Is this possible,
and if so, how?
