Uutlook 2000 does not open on new install, Express does

Installed Office 2000, Outlook Express worked, Outlook did not.
Reinstalled Ofice 2000, Uninstalled and then reinstalled, uninstalled and
reinstalled with a changed folder name for program----none of this help.
Do you have any idea? You can click on the program but it opens with an
error message, and you need to cancell. I can't really decipher the error
message or understand it, but it ends in a dll. I want to use OUtlook and
not Exxpress, Express works.
