Vacation time database

We have a data base that tracks sick time, vacation time
etc. Is there any way to give each employee access to just
their info.

yes there is. i did this several years back.
create a simple db with one form in it that will run a
report of emp time. we have a history report that gives
the balace. set this up as a front end back end with the
one form db as the front end and the admin db as the back
end. link the front end to the admin back end. then
passwords for each emp. we have a form in the admin db to
add, change, delete passwords. the front end is on a
public drive so everyone can access it. the back end is on
the same pubic drive but hidden. no one knows were it is
at except the db administrator and me the developer.
then the emp enters their emp number and password and view
their time.

Thanks for the reply. I'm sure I'll have some more questions
as I try this. It may be a couple of days before I can
start. At least I know it's possible.
