BOught a laptop that had a trial version of Windows 2007 Home and Student,
when the tril ended I upgraded to 2007 Professional, however everytime I want
to download templates it says I have an unvalidated version of Home and
Student. How do I get rid of the older version, since I can't find it
anywhere on my computer?

Did you remove the Home & Student version in Windows' control panel?

Assuming you're using Vista, click Start, type "programs" in the Start
Search box, then click on "Programs and Features" (it should appear in the
list).

Find Microsoft Office Home and Student 2007, click on it, then click
Uninstall.

tried what you suggested still can't find Home and student. when I installed
Office Professional it asked if I wanted to overwrite previous issues of
Office and I said yes, however when I went to upload a template it said my
validation for Home and student was not valid or up to date. Should I
uninstall all Office products and reinstall to fix this issue?
